About Dive Expo

Explore the Business of Diving with Us

The Australia International Dive Expo (AIDE) launched in 2014 at the Royal Hall of Industries in Moore Park, Sydney.

With the aim to grow the dive community through education and inspiration, the show brought together a range of key industry players and suppliers, as well as highly respected field experts in marine life, conservation and different niches of scuba diving.

After three years as a stand-alone show, AIDE joined forces with the Sydney International Boat Show (SIBS) to deliver the most comprehensive Show for water loving citizens at the International Convention Centre Sydney in Darling Harbour.

Since 2017, organisers of AIDE, AsiaEvents Exsic Pty Ltd, collaborated with the organisers of SIBS, Boat Industry Association NSW, to bring water lovers a thoroughly immersive and entertaining water sports event.

Running close to 53 years now, SIBS is a well-established and highly anticipated annual event in Australia, attracting an average of 60,000 visitors each year.

The collaboration gives AIDE’s exhibitors the chance to reach a wider water-loving audience and the opportunity to be part of Australia’s largest boating event. It also gives SIBS an edge to have a section that caters to all things underwater.

The Malaysian based AsiaEvents Exsic has been organising the Australia International Dive Expo since 2014. This comes off the back of their long-standing international success with the Malaysia Dive Expo, which has been going for 16 years now.

Our Objective

The core objective is to promote the sport of recreational diving and encourage the dive community to grow. In collaboration with organisations and businesses both nationally and internationally, our aim is to forge strong partnerships that align with our scope and business objectives.

Apart from encouraging more people to explore the underwater world, AIDE is also a platform for discussing ongoing issues that threaten our marine world, the solutions being researched and implemented, as well as other relevant topics of interest.

Our aim is to not only promote scuba diving and other water-related sports, but at the same time provide a leading networking platform for local and international stakeholders to meet, discuss and transact.

Our focus for dive stakeholders in both the short and long term is to help them generate leads and increase conversion. We do this not only on the floor at the Expo, but across all of our marketing activities via print, online and broadcast in the lead up to, and during the event.
